Fresh to Table, an innovative store-within-a-store concept at ShopRite, reinvents traditional produce and fresh departments to provide inspired, high-quality options and ingredients for shoppers looking for a one-stop-shop meal experience. It delivers a reimagined shopping experience where customers can find fresh, on-trend foods, easy-to-prepare recipes and ingredients, and meal solutions in a variety of grab-and-go formats.
Highlights of the “Fresh to Table” shopping experience include:
- Ready-to cook items (“Prep & Eat”), ready-to-heat and serve items (“Heat & Eat”), and ready-to-eat meals (“Grab & Eat”).
- A “One-Stop Dinner Shop” area offers shoppers a selection of recipes featuring two, five-ingredient entrée suggestions, as well as a third option for a themed “mix and match” dinner, such as “Lasagna Night” or “Seafood Supper Night.” Selections are crafted and curated by ShopRite chefs and registered dietitians. The easy-to-prepare meals change weekly and are featured on The Recipe Shop at ShopRite.com, which also can be accessed by scanning QR codes on in-store digital screens.
- The “Tasty & Trending” section highlights on-trend and seasonal snacks and meals. Items change frequently and are also selected by ShopRite chefs and registered dietitians to inspire customers to explore unique meal options procured from departments across the store, including Meat, Seafood, Produce Bakery, and more.
- Additionally, the clean, modern aesthetic and distinctive signage and designated registers for easy checkout also provide an easy and intuitive experience for customers shopping Fresh to Table in-store.
The multi-purpose space also features new and innovative items from ShopRite’s Own Brand products, including ShopRite’s award-winning Bowl & Basket and Wholesome Pantry lines.
Fresh to Table also incorporates convenient digital components such as ShopRite Express to pre-order meals online, designed to help customers save time and money.
Fresh to Table has successfully launched in several ShopRite locations, including Pike County, PA, Bloomfield, Greenwich and Burlington, NJ, and Poughkeepsie and Monroe, NY, with more locations to come.
